Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the engine shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
3. Remove the charge air cooler inlet duct. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Duct Replacement .
4. Remove the diesel particulate filter/catalytic converter. Refer to Exhaust Particulate Filter Replacement : LNQ .

Turbocharger Oil Return Pipe Fastener (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Install NEW turbocharger oil return pipe gaskets whenever the pipe is removed.

Tighten
14 N·m (11 lb ft)
