Removal Procedure
- Recover the refrigerant. Refer to
Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging : High Voltage Electric Compressor .
- Remove the front wheelhouse front liner on the driver side. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement
- Remove the air conditioning receiver and dehydrator Plug (1)
Note: Cap all A/C components immediately to prevent system contamination.
- Remove and discard the sealing washers (2).
- Remove the receiver and dehydrator (3) from the condenser.
Installation Procedure
- Install the receiver and dehydrator (3) in the condenser.
- Install new sealing washers (2).
- Install the air conditioning receiver and dehydrator Plug (1)
- Install the front wheelhouse front liner on the driver side. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement
- Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to
Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging : High Voltage Electric Compressor .
- Leak test the fittings using the GE-39400-A Halogen Leak Detector
