Radiator Replacement — 2.0L Diesel LLW

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  2. Remove the radiator grille reinforcement support. Refer to Radiator Grille Reinforcement Support Replacement .
  3. Remove the bonnet primary and secondary catches. Refer to Bonnet Primary and Secondary Catch Replacement .
  4. Remove the inlet air duct. Refer to Inlet Air Duct Replacement .
  5. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  6. Remove the cooling lines. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDD, LUH, and LUJ → 1.6L LXT,L2W → 2.0L Diesel LLW → LDE, LLU, LXV, 2H0, and LUW and Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDD, LUH, and LUJ → 1.6L LXT,L2W → 2.0L Diesel LLW → LDE, LLU, LXV, 2H0, and LUW .
  7. Remove the radiator support brackets. Refer to Radiator Support Bracket Replacement .
  8. Remove the charge air cooler. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → 1.4L LUH, LUJ - AT → 2.0L Diesel LLW → 1.4L LUH, LUJ - M32-6 MZ4 .
  9. Remove the engine coolant fan. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDE,LXT,LXV,L2W,2H0-MT → 1.4L LUH, LUJ - M32-6 MZ4 → LDE, LLU, LUJ, LUW, LXV, LXT, L2W, 2H0-AT → 2.0L Diesel LLW .
  10. Remove the air conditioning condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDE, LLU, LUJ, LXT, LXV, L2W and 2H0 → 2.0L Diesel LLW .

  11. Remove the radiator air seal (1).

  12. Remove the radiator (1).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radiator (1).

  2. Install the radiator air seal (1)
  3. Install the air conditioning condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDE, LLU, LUJ, LXT, LXV, L2W and 2H0 → 2.0L Diesel LLW .
  4. Install the engine coolant fan. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDE,LXT,LXV,L2W,2H0-MT → 1.4L LUH, LUJ - M32-6 MZ4 → LDE, LLU, LUJ, LUW, LXV, LXT, L2W, 2H0-AT → 2.0L Diesel LLW .
  5. Install the charge air cooler. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → 1.4L LUH, LUJ - AT → 2.0L Diesel LLW → 1.4L LUH, LUJ - M32-6 MZ4 .
  6. Install the radiator support brackets. Refer to Radiator Support Bracket Replacement .
  7. Install the cooling lines. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDD, LUH, and LUJ → 1.6L LXT,L2W → 2.0L Diesel LLW → LDE, LLU, LXV, 2H0, and LUW and Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDD, LUH, and LUJ → 1.6L LXT,L2W → 2.0L Diesel LLW → LDE, LLU, LXV, 2H0, and LUW .
  8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  9. Install the inlet air duct. Refer to Inlet Air Duct Replacement .
  10. Install the bonnet primary and secondary catches. Refer to Bonnet Primary and Secondary Catch Replacement .
  11. Install the radiator grille reinforcement support. Refer to Radiator Grille Reinforcement Support Replacement .
  12. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
