Exhaust Manifold Installation

EN-50435 Guide Pin

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

    Note: Set EN-50435 guide pin 2 on the cylinder head before installation.

  1. Install the exhaust manifold (2) and new gasket (3).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the exhaust manifold mounting bolts (1) and tighten to 20 N·m (14.7 lb ft).
  3. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Installation .
  4. Install the turbocharger. Refer to Turbocharger Installation .
  5. Install the DPF. Refer to Exhaust Particulate Filter Installation .
