Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement — 2.0L Diesel LLW
Removal Procedure
Recover the refrigerant. Refer to
Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
.
Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
Remove front bumper fascia. Refer to
Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Replacement
.
Remove air inlet duct (1).
Remove radiator support. Refer to
Radiator Support Replacement
.
Remove A/C compressor and condenser hose nuts.
Remove A/C compressor and condenser hose from condenser (1, 2). Refer to
Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement
:
2.0L Diesel LNP
→
1.4L LUJ
→
LDE, LLU, LXV, and 2H0
→
1.6L LXT, L2W
→
2.0L Diesel LLW
.
Remove A/C refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to
Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement
:
LDE, LFH, LLU, LUJ, LXT, LXV, L2W, 2H0
→
LLW, LNP
.
Remove A/C condenser (1).
Installation Procedure
Install A/C condenser (1).
Install A/C refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to
Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement
:
LDE, LFH, LLU, LUJ, LXT, LXV, L2W, 2H0
→
LLW, LNP
.
Install A/C compressor and condenser hose to condenser (1, 2). Refer to
Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement
:
2.0L Diesel LNP
→
1.4L LUJ
→
LDE, LLU, LXV, and 2H0
→
1.6L LXT, L2W
→
2.0L Diesel LLW
.
Caution:
Refer to
Fastener Caution
in the Preface section.
Install compressor and condenser hose nuts and tighten to
19 N·m (14 lb ft)
.
Install radiator support. Refer to
Radiator Support Replacement
.
Install air inlet duct (1).
Install front bumper fascia. Refer to
Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Replacement
.
Connect battery negative cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to
Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
.
