Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement — 2.0L Diesel LLW

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
2. Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
3. Remove front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Replacement .



4. Remove air inlet duct (1).
5. Remove radiator support. Refer to Radiator Support Replacement .
6. Remove A/C compressor and condenser hose nuts.



7. Remove A/C compressor and condenser hose from condenser (1, 2). Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → 1.4L LUJ → LDE, LLU, LXV, and 2H0 → 1.6L LXT, L2W → 2.0L Diesel LLW .
8. Remove A/C refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement : LDE, LFH, LLU, LUJ, LXT, LXV, L2W, 2H0 → LLW, LNP .



9. Remove A/C condenser (1).

1. Install A/C condenser (1).
2. Install A/C refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement : LDE, LFH, LLU, LUJ, LXT, LXV, L2W, 2H0 → LLW, LNP .



3. Install A/C compressor and condenser hose to condenser (1, 2). Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → 1.4L LUJ → LDE, LLU, LXV, and 2H0 → 1.6L LXT, L2W → 2.0L Diesel LLW .

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

4. Install compressor and condenser hose nuts and tighten to 19 N·m (14 lb ft).
5. Install radiator support. Refer to Radiator Support Replacement .



6. Install air inlet duct (1).
7. Install front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Replacement .
8. Connect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
9. Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
