Engine Coolant Fan Replacement - 2.0L Diesel LNP

1. For vehicles with manual gearbox - F40, remove the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP and MT → 2.0L Diesel LNP and AT → LDE, LLU, and LUJ with AT → 2.0L Diesel LLW → LDE, LXV,LUW, L2W, 2H0- AT → LDE, LXV LUW, L2W, 2H0 - MT → 1.6L LDE, LXT, LXV, 1.8L 2H0, and LUW .
2. For vehicles with automatic transmission - 6T45, remove the engine coolant fan shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDE,LXT,LXV,L2W,2H0, LUW-MT → 1.4L LUH and LUJ - M32-6 MZ4 → LDE, LLU, LUJ, LUW, LXT, LXV, L2W, 2HO-AT .




Note: For vehicles with manual gearbox, the engine coolant fan shroud remains in the vehicle.

3. Unclip the 2 engine cooling fan wiring harnesses (1, 3) from the engine cooling fan cowl.
4. Unclip the 2 engine coolant fan resistor brackets (2) from the engine coolant fan shroud.
5. Remove the 6 engine cooling fan bolts (4) from the 2 engine cooling fans.
6. Remove the 2 engine cooling fans from the engine cooling fan cowl.

1. Install the 2 engine cooling fans to the engine cooling fan cowl.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the 6 engine cooling fan bolts (4) to the 2 engine cooling fans and tighten to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
3. Clip the 2 engine coolant fan resistor brackets (2) into the engine coolant fan shroud.
4. Clip in the 2 engine cooling fan wiring harnesses (1, 3) to the engine cooling fan cowl.
5. For vehicles with manual gearbox - F40, install the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP and MT → 2.0L Diesel LNP and AT → LDE, LLU, and LUJ with AT → 2.0L Diesel LLW → LDE, LXV,LUW, L2W, 2H0- AT → LDE, LXV LUW, L2W, 2H0 - MT → 1.6L LDE, LXT, LXV, 1.8L 2H0, and LUW .
6. For vehicles with automatic transmission - 6T45, install the engine coolant fan shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement : 2.0L Diesel LNP → LDE,LXT,LXV,L2W,2H0, LUW-MT → 1.4L LUH and LUJ - M32-6 MZ4 → LDE, LLU, LUJ, LUW, LXT, LXV, L2W, 2HO-AT .
