Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement : LNQ  → LF1  → LE5 .
2. Remove the engine oil cooler outlet Hose. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Outlet Hose Replacement : LNQ .
3. Remove the engine oil cooler inlet hose. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Coolant Hoses/Pipes Replacement : LNQ-EGR Pipe  → LNQ-EGR Manifold Cooling Return  → LNQ-Oil Cooler to Cooler  → LNQ-EGR Valve to Cooler .

Oil Filter Adapter Fastener (Qty: 6)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Procedure

Be sure to replace the gasket whenever the cooler is removed.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Procedure

Transfer part as necessary.
