Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Positive and Negative Cable Replacement : LNQ → LF1 → LE5
  2. Remove the driver knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement : Long Body  → Short Body .
  3. Disconnect the clutch pedal position switch wiring harness connector.

  4. Remove the clutch pedal position switch bolt (1).
  5. Remove the clutch pedal position switch (2) from the clutch pedal (3).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the clutch pedal position switch (2) to the clutch pedal (3).
  2. Install the clutch pedal position switch bolt (1) and tighten to4 Nm (35 lb in). .
  3. Connect the clutch pedal position switch wiring harness connector.
  4. Install the driver knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement : Long Body → Short Body
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Positive and Negative Cable Replacement : LNQ  → LF1  → LE5 .
